Patrick was a life long swimmer, water polo player, swim instructor and lifeguard in Oxnard. He grew up with a love for the water, doing anything and everything to be in and around it.
Help us keep his legacy alive by donating to the Patrick Vega Swim Scholarship, and giving the gift of a swimming to our community.

Please join us Saturday, May 4th from 11:00AM to 3:00pm at the Oxnard High School Pool.
We will be swimming 27x100s in honor of Patrick’s 27th birthday. Water aerobics will be taught from 11:30AM to 12:30AM by Amy Vega. For those who don’t want to get swim, please come and enjoy the community and refreshments.
We will be raising money to support our swim community for this upcoming summer, as well as local high school aquatics teams.
Tax-deductible donations are welcomed.

This scholarship was established in 2019 to honor the memory of Patrick Vega.
Patrick’s legacy of teaching others to swim is a legacy of life. The scholarship provides swim lessons for those who cannot afford to pay. It also provides opportunities for members of our aquatic community to grow through donations for aquatic equipment and lifeguard classes.
